Disability Protections

For individuals with disabilities, a housing provider may not:

• Deny reasonable modifications for accessibility
• Deny reasonable accommodations in policies or practices

Family Protections

The Act also safeguards families with children, including minors, guardians, and pregnant individuals, with exemptions for HUD-qualified senior housing.
